CANON( canon ) Original, inspired by an expansion of the universe in
omina, poetry collection by Naja Marie Aidt & Mette Moestrup, that will eventually be found here,
yearlong.
( background ) Here.
( quick rundown ) She lived in a city ruled by a king, as many cities are, and before meeting the Amazon, she did not know the wrongs done to her from higher-up by this arrangement. But the Amazon settled with them, and her ideas of hierarchies and structures and the destruction of these settled with them as well. She taught Hiracha to use a dagger, she made Esil ask questions, the first stepping stones in any revolution. And then, she left. Went on her journey home and what stayed behind was a city in turmoil, the women wanted their rights, their power back, and the men, the king especially, wanted their comforts and their privileges in peace. So war came to Esil's city, revolution did. Hiracha who had learned to fight, fought well. Every woman that she had taught the same trade fought doubly and after a few weeks of living on a battlefield, the king lost his life, Hiracha taking the throne for herself. Every comfort, every privilege, she claimed as her own. Esil decided to go the same way the Amazon had. She left on the only horse she could find, clad in the Amazon's heavy armour, which had kept her safe throughout the whole rebellion. Is she a warrior now, is the question. And what kind of warrior does she want to be?( canon point ) Flexible, probably defaulting to after she has left her city behind.
( notes ) omina takes place in some unspecified "ancient" setting akin to Ancient Greece or Rome and will mesh well with fantasy characters from similarly "primitive" settings. I could see her click with the Tolkien universe, the Witcher or Greek myth, to mention a few.
PLAYER( contact ) PM to this journal.
( active times/pace ) CEST/CET player. Tries to be online at least during the evening my time, but it varies. More one tag a day player than anything, but if you hit me up at the right time, I can still boomerang a bit.
( brackets/prose ) Definitely brackets preference. I default to present tense, but can also match other tenses.
( offensive subjects/triggers ) Not any.
IN CHARACTER( physical affection ) Go for it. Reactions are generally favorable.
( physical violence ) Go for it, she will try to fight back.
( relationships ) I love gen, but if shipping becomes a thing, I have a F/F pref for her. Not ruling out M/F, but the chemistry would have to be very special.
( psychic info ) Ask; she has no defences or shields.
( magical info ) Ordinary human.
( medical info ) Nothing of note.
( offensive subjects/triggers ) War and PTSD-like symptoms from fighting are themes with her. Loss and grief as well. If any of this is a trigger for you, let me know and I will avoid tagging you, no questions asked.
OUT OF CHARACTER( backtagging ) Yes, please!
( threadhopping ) No.
( fourthwalling ) No.
( not interested in ) Smut, shipping as a rule, unless top-leveled in shippy-themed memes.
